Daytona Beach Guidelines

Now that you have found your Cheap Hotel in Daytona it’s time to start planning your vacation. Daytona offers a unique beach experience and many visitors want to know the guidelines. Below are the rules and regulations of the beach in Daytona.

Driving
Daytona is famous for being one of the only Florida towns where driving on the beach is permitted. Although driving is allowed, it’s only in designated areas. Driving is only allowed one hour before sunrise and one hour after sunset. Be sure to obey posted rules and signage.

Fires
Be sure to contain open flames to designated grilling areas at select hotels and resorts. Fire pits are available at Frank Rendon Park. The fire pits are off limits during turtle season.

Alcohol on Beach
Daytona Beach does not allow alcohol on the beach. Check with your hotel to see if it’s allowed by the pool.

Dogs
Dogs are allowed on the beach but only in designated area. Check with your hotel for the nearest pet-friendly location.
